A motion was made by Vice Chair Saro, seconded by Commissioner Supernaw, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 9 - Allen, Price, Supernaw, Mungo, Uranga, Austin, Tanzer, Saro and Zendejas Absent: 1 - Richardson 3. 21-1065 Recommendation to receive and file the Housing Authority Financial and Operational Performance Reports for June 2021. (Citywide) A motion was made by Vice Chair Saro, seconded by Commissioner Austin, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 9 - Allen, Price, Supernaw, Mungo, Uranga, Austin, Tanzer, Saro and Zendejas Absent: 1 - Richardson 4. 21-1066 Recommendation to receive and file the Housing Authority Financial and Operational Performance Reports for July 2021. (Citywide) A motion was made by Commissioner Uranga, seconded by Commissioner Supernaw, to approve recommendation and adopt Resolution No. H.A. 03-21. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 9 - Allen, Price, Supernaw, Mungo, Uranga, Austin, Tanzer, Saro and Zendejas Absent: 1 - Richardson Enactment No: H.A. 03-21 6. 21-1068 Recommendation to adopt resolution authorizing the Assistant Executive Director and/or the Deputy Executive Director to execute all required documents necessary to accept funding from the Los Angeles Housing Department (LAHD), formerly the Housing and Community Investment Department of Los Angeles (HCIDLA), to continue the Housing Opportunities for Persons with Aids (HOPWA) Program for FY 2021- 2022, July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022. (Citywide) A motion was made by Commissioner Allen, seconded by Commissioner Uranga, to approve recommendation and adopt Resolution No. H.A. 04-21. OCEAN BOULEVARD THE CITY OF LONG BEACH, CIVIC CHAMBERS, 4:30 PM CALIFORNIA MINUTES Enactment No: H.A. 04-21 7. 21-1069 Recommendation to authorize the Assistant Executive Director and/or the Deputy Executive Director, to execute all documents necessary to amend Contract No. 34756 with BDO USA, LLP, formerly Casterline Associates, P.C., of Philadelphia, for professional accounting services, to increase the contract amount by $210,000, for a revised total contract amount not to exceed $696,378, and extend the term to March 31, 2022. (Citywide) A motion was made by Commissioner Allen, seconded by Commissioner Supernaw, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 9 - Allen, Price, Supernaw, Mungo, Uranga, Austin, Tanzer, Saro and Zendejas Absent: 1 - Richardson 8. 21-1070 Recommendation to authorize the Assistant Executive Director and/or the Deputy Executive Director, to execute interagency agreements for the Emergency Housing Voucher (EHV) Program between the Housing Authority of the City of Long Beach and each of (i) the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA), (ii) the Los Angeles County Community Development Authority, (iii) the Compton Housing Authority, and (iv) the Norwalk Housing Authority, which will allow for the mutual acceptance of each jurisdiction's vouchers . (Citywide) A motion was made by Commissioner Allen, seconded by Commissioner Supernaw, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 9 - Allen, Price, Supernaw, Mungo, Uranga, Austin, Tanzer, Saro and Zendejas Absent: 1 - Richardson 9. 21-1071 Recommendation to adopt Utility Allowances for Affordable Rental Housing Programs, effective January 1, 2022.
