(District 3) Christine Whitcraft, CSULB, presented a Case Study on Colorado Lagoon: Do Culverts prevent estuarine fish from accessing important habitats? Commissioner Mayes spoke. LBPD - Marine Patrol Unit James Smigla, Sergeant, LBPD/Marine Patrol reviewed the following: ● Trainee program. ● Increase of patrolling due to the homeless. MARINE & BEACH MAINTENANCE / OPERATIONS COMMITTEE Jo Murray - Chair Commissioner Murray commented all items were discussed at today’s meeting. PUBLIC COMMENT Gabriela Yates, CD3, commented on the Christmas Trees in the Bay, and thanked Cory Forrester for clearing palm tree fronds from the bike paths. Brian Maginnis, LBRA mentioned the activity on Boathouse Lane has settled down, and thanked everyone involved.
