A motion was made by Commissioner Mac Rae, seconded by Commissioner Daniels, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 7 - Camille Daniels, Colin Kelly, Elizabeth Lambe, Bruce Mac Rae, Theresa Marino, Jo Murray and Tom Mayes Absent: 2 - Nathaniel Brown and Mark Turpin NEW BUSINESS 2. 21-037MA Recommendation to approve the placement location of memorial or commemorative bench outlined in Attachment “A”. Jorge Godinez presented the Alamitos Bay Marina Parking Management Plan. MARINA DRIVE, 6:00 PM Ad Hoc Committee: Commissioner Mac Rae, Chair Commissioner Kelly Commissioner Murray A motion was made by Commissioner Mac Rae, seconded by Commissioner Kelly, to convene an Ad Hoc committee of the Marine Advisory Commission, to study the Alamitos Bay Marina parking recommendations and proposal. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 7 - Camille Daniels, Colin Kelly, Elizabeth Lambe, Bruce Mac Rae, Theresa Marino, Jo Murray and Tom Mayes Absent: 2 - Nathaniel Brown and Mark Turpin MANAGER'S REPORT TO COMMISSION 5. 21-040MA Recommendation to receive and file the Manager's monthly oral updates. This MA-Agenda Item was laid over until January 13, 2022. COMMITTEE STATUS REPORTS EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE Mark Turpin - Chair Vice Chair Mayes commented all items were reviewed at today’s meeting. MARINE & BEACH MAINTENANCE / OPERATIONS COMMITTEE Jo Murray - Chair Commissioner Murray stated the update would be given during the Manager's Report. PUBLIC COMMENT Guest Christopher Quint spoke on anchoring costs near Belmont Pier, and transient yachts.
