CALL TO ORDER
The Parks and Recreation Commission meeting was called to order by Chair Goldberg at
9:00 a.m., at the El Dorado Park Senior Center.

PRESENTATIONS
Employee of the Month - March 2018
Sherlyn Beatty introduced Maria Gutierrez as the March, Employee of the Month. Maria
Gutierrez is an outstanding Rec. Spec X, Site Director for the WRAP Expanded Learning
Program at Starr King Elementary School. Maria exemplifies the PRM Way and provides
outstanding customer service daily. Her costumer service does not just shine with our
program participants, but also with her co-workers, staff, the school’s personnel, and WRAP
families. She has facilitated many successful family night events in partnership with the
school including their First Father/Daughter Dance, Talent shows, and currently she is
coordinating a Mother/Son Sports Extravaganza. Her attention to detail has been a benefit as
she leads the way for her staff to create outstanding events and programs.

Meeting minutes of March 22, 2018.
A motion was made by Commissioner Ursua, seconded by
Commissioner Antonette, to approve recommendation. The
motion carried by the following vote:
