ROLL CALL ALSO PRESENT: Larry Rich, Sustainability Coordinator; Tiffany Chen, Sustainability Analyst; and Thelinjoris Manuel, Clerk Typist III. Commissioners Daryl Supernaw, Elizabeth Nash, Elliot Gonzales, Joan Present: Greenwood, Kathleen Irvine and Stella Ursua Commissioners Gordana Kajer, Lisa Wibroe and Robin Thorne Absent: PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: There was no public participation. PRESENTATION: Chair Supernaw introduced Jimmy Ng, who provided the Growing Experience Urban Farm presentation. Chair Supernaw spoke. Commissioner Irvine spoke and a dialogue ensued with Jimmy Ng, Growing Experience Urban Farm. Commissioner Gonzales spoke. A motion was made by Commissioner Wibroe, seconded by Commissioner Greenwood, to approve the recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 7 - Daryl Supernaw, Lisa Wibroe, Joan Greenwood, Elliot Gonzales, Elizabeth Nash, Kathleen Irvine and Stella Ursua Absent: 2 - Robin Thorne and Gordana Kajer 2. 14-016SC Recommendation to receive a report on Fine Feathers Kombucha Company and recognize as a Green Business in the City of Long Beach. Chair Supernaw introduced Tiffany Chen, Sustainability Analyst, who provided the report on the Fine Feathers Kombucha Company. Chair Supernaw spoke and Tiffany Chen, Sustainability Analyst, spoke. Commissioner Ursua spoke. Tiffany Chen, Sustainability Analyst, spoke and a dialogue ensued with Commissioner Ursua. A motion was made by Commissioner Greenwood, seconded by Commissioner Wibroe, to approve the recommendation.
