OCEAN BLVD, 4:00 PM Coby Skye, Chair Nicholas Lind, Commissioner Sona Coffee, Vice Chair Eric Rock, Commissioner Donna Bergeron-Birge, Commissioner Alan Tolkoff, Commissioner Carla Dillon, Commissioner Morgan Wheeler, Commissioner Elliot Gonzales, Commissioner FINISHED AGENDA AND DRAFT MINUTES CALL TO ORDER Chair Skye called the meeting to order at 4:03 PM. ROLL CALL Also present: Larry Rich, Sustainable City Coordinator Commissioners Donna Bergeron-Birge, Carla Dillon, Alan Tolkoff, Morgan Present: Wheeler, Sona Coffee and Coby Skye Commissioners Elliot Gonzales and Nicholas Lind Absent: REGULAR AGENDA 17-021SC Recommendation to receive a presentation on Energy Efficient Mortgages and to support the City effort to develop a program to promote EEMs and other home efficiency financing options. Larry Rich, Sustainable City Coordinator, spoke. Marcia Tolentino, Co-Founder and Principal of Stellar Sustainable Consulting, gave the presentation. Vice Chair Coffee spoke. A motion was made by Commissioner Dillon, seconded by Vice Chair Coffee, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 8 - Donna Bergeron-Birge, Carla Dillon, Alan Tolkoff, Morgan Wheeler, Sona Coffee, Coby Skye, Larry Rich and Alison Riordan Absent: 2 - Elliot Gonzales and Nicholas Lind 17-020SC Recommendation to receive a presentation from Long Beach Fleet Services on their progress towards a Green Fleet. Dan Berlenbach, Fleet Services Bureau Manager, gave the presentation. Chair Skye spoke. Commissioner Wheeler spoke. Commissioner Dillon joined the meeting. George Faras, representing the Neighborhood Leadership program, spoke. A motion was made by Vice Chair Coffee, seconded by Commissioner Dillon, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 8 - Donna Bergeron-Birge, Carla Dillon, Alan Tolkoff, Morgan Wheeler, Sona Coffee, Coby Skye, Larry Rich and Alison Riordan Absent: 2 - Elliot Gonzales and Nicholas Lind PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: Members of the public are invited to address the Commission on items of interest to the public within the Commission's jurisdiction. Each speaker will be limited to two minutes unless that time is extended by the Chair. ADJOURNMENT Chair Skye adjourned the meeting at 5:36 PM.
