CITY OF LONOKE CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING nd 2 Qtr. CONDEMNATION MEETING July 22, 2021 The Lonoke City Council held a special Condemnation meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday July 22, 2021. Mayor Trae Reed called the meeting to order with the invocation given by Efrem Jones. City Clerk, Jeribeth Edwards to call the roll. City Clerk Jeribeth Edwards called the roll and a quorum. Jeremy Gosdin News Media Rick Kron, The Leader (absent) Visitors Gene Eagle Gene Eagle was present and gave report. No action needed. 1. Properties being considered for condemnation- a. Property at 206 England Street -Mr. Gosdin mentioned that this property has been torn down with the exception of a storage building. He requested this property continue to stay of the list until the storage building is gone. The cost for the property to be torn down cost $274.85 in postage and a title search. b. Property at 210 East 11th Street - Mr. Gosdin mentioned that this property has been torn down and he requested the property be taken off the list. The cost for the property to be torn down cost $281.25 in postage and a title search. Efrem Jones made the motion to take the property off the list. Ryan Biles seconded the motion. Motion carried. Holly- Mr. Gosdin mentioned that this property has been torn down and he requested the property be taken off the list. The cost for the property to be torn down cost $271.85 in postage and a title search. Efrem Jones made the motion to take the property off the list. Ryan Biles seconded the motion. Motion carried. d. 418 Ash Street- Mr. Gosdin mentioned that this property has been torn down and he requested the property be taken off the list. The cost for the property to be torn down cost $279.70 in postage and a title search. Efrem Jones made the motion to take the property off the list. Ryan Biles seconded the motion. Motion carried. e. 705 Dismukes- Mr. Gosdin mentioned that this property has been torn down and he requested the property be taken off the list. The cost for the property to be torn down cost $301.55 in postage and a title search. Efrem Jones made the motion to take the property off the list. Ryan Biles seconded the motion. Motion carried. f. 1209 Oakdale- Mr. Gosdin mentioned that this property has been torn down and he requested the property be taken off the list. The cost for the property to be torn down cost $283.05 in postage and a title search. Efrem Jones made the motion to take the property off the list. Ryan Biles seconded the motion. Motion carried. (Mayor Reed mentioned to the council there is $28,307.00 left in the condemnation budget for the 2021 year.) 2. New Properties to Consider for 3rd Qtr.
