Loomis Chamber Presentation The Chamber of Commerce will give a presentation on the Video Contest they did with Del Oro High School. Recommended action: Hear presentation. Public comment: 10. Mayor’s Appointment of Library Board The next step in the process of implementing the Loomis Municipal Library is for the mayor to appoint a five-member library board of trustees with the consent of the council (Education Code Section 18910) Recommended action: By motion, confirm mayor’s appointments to the library board. Public comment: 11. Receipt of Proposed Loomis Library Community Learning Center Business Plan Consider receipt of the proposed business plan for the Loomis Library Community Learning Center Recommended action: Accept business plan. Public comment: 12. Town’s Storm Drain System Brit Snipes, Public Works Director, will give a presentation on drainage issues in town. Recommended action: Hear presentation. Applicant makes its presentation – 15 minutes (At the discretion of the mayor or chair, time may be extended depending on the size/scope of the proposed project. The applicant must make the request for a time extension prior to the beginning of the meeting.) 5. Commission/Council asks questions of the applicant (and staff) 6. Public comment – maximum 3 minutes per speaker, one opportunity to speak each 7. Applicant opportunity to respond to public comments – 5 minutes (At the discretion of the mayor or chair, time may be extended depending on the number of comments made during public comment.) 8.
