The audience should be aware that the Council may not discuss details or vote on non-agenda items. The Council may refer your concerns raised during public comment to staff or placed on future agenda. Please note that the audience will be allotted time to make public comments on any item on the agenda at the time it is heard. ADOPTION OF AGENDA: Council will typically adopt the agenda in the order listed or modify the order in a way that can best accommodate the people in attendance who wish to speak on agenda items. Speakers are requested to restrict comments to the item as it appears on the agenda and stay within a three-minute time limit. The Mayor has the discretion of limiting the total discussion time for an item. Loomis Library Parking Lot Use Agreement The Town and Placer County entered into a purchase agreement for the Loomis Library and Community Learning Center property in December 2020. One of the provisions of that purchase agreement was the establishment of an agreement for the use of the parking lot between the Library and the Veterans Hall. This is needed because ownership of the parking lot remains with the County. Recommended action: Adopt resolution approving a Parking Lot Use Agreement with Placer County for the Loomis Library parking lot and authorize the Town Manager to sign the agreement. Public comment: 10. Ace Hardware Annex Lease Agreement Terms Loomis ACE Hardware (3690 Taylor Road) opened for business on November 10, 2020 and since then their monthly sales have far exceeded their original predictions. At this time, their biggest hurdle relates to incoming inventory and appropriate storage. Greg Brenning, owner of Ace Hardware, filed for a Conditional Use Permit to erect a 2100 square foot annex at the end of the Walnut Street cul-de-sac and it was approved unanimously by the Planning Commission on February 23, 2021. Recommended action: Adopt the resolution approving a lease agreement with ACE Hardware and authorize the Town Manager to enter into a lease agreement with Greg Brenning of Loomis ACE Hardware.
