CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL Mayor Jenny Knisley Mayor Pro Tempore Danny Cartwright Councilmember Brian Baker Councilmember Jan Clark-Crets Councilmember Jeff Duncan DEDICATION OF PLAQUE HONORING FORMER MAYOR HAZEL HINELINE At the Iris Garden in front of the Loomis Depot Building, 5775 Horseshoe Bar Road, Loomis, CA 95650 At the April 12 ,2022 Town Council meeting the Council authorized the Town Manager to commission a plaque honoring former Mayor Hazel Hineline, with a not to exceed amount of $800 and schedule a ceremony to dedicate the Iris Garden at the Train Depot in Hazel’s honor. Hazel passed away February 14, 2022 Mrs. Hineline served the Loomis community, in several different capacities, for many years. She was first elected to the Town Council in 1988, and again in 2000. She also served as Town Treasurer and served on the Planning Commission. She also served as the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce and was instrumental in establishing the Iris Garden itself. Her imprint on our community is unmistakable.
