August 23, 2022 - PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES APPROVE 2. October 17, 2022 - PLANNING PROJECT STATUS RECEIVE AND FILE 3. July 2022 GENERAL PLAN UPDATE STATUS REPORT RECEIVE AND FILE PLANNING COMMISSION MATTERS 4. Consideration of cancellation of the Planning Commission meeting dates of November 22, 2022 and December 27, 2022. Recommendation to approve Resolution #22-09 for the cancellation of the November 22, 2022 and December 27, 2022 Planning Commission meetings due to the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. PUBLIC HEARING: 5. APPLICATION #22-24 – COSTCO – MODIFICATION TO EXISTING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND DESIGN REVIEW – SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SIERRA COLLEGE BLVD/BRACE ROAD., LOOMIS, CA 95650 - APN’s 045-042-011, -012, -023, -034, -035, -036, AND -037. Application #22-24 requests the Town of Loomis to approve a Modified Conditional Use Permit and Design Review for a modified warehouse retail use in which the previously approved accessory fueling station would be replaced with additional parking. Lighting, and landscaping, subject to the conditions of approval. No further considerations are being made at this time. RECOMMENDATION: 1. Conduct a public hearing and receive public input; and 2. Adopt Resolution #22-08 recommending Town Council approval of the Modified Warehouse Retail Conditional Use Permit and Design Review based on “Option 1D” as described in the Project EIR, and with the replacement of the fueling station with additional parking stalls, expanded landscaping and bioretention areas, and additional parking lot lighting, subject to the findings and conditions of approval. Town staff makes its presentation on the Project and outlines all recommended actions. 2. Commission asks questions of staff. 3. Chair opens the public hearing. 4. Applicant makes its presentation – 15 minutes. (At the discretion of the Chair, time may be extended depending on the size/scope of the proposed project. The applicant must make the request for a time extension prior to the beginning of the meeting.) 5. Commission asks questions of the applicant (and staff). 6. Public comment – maximum three- minutes per speaker, one opportunity to speak each. 7. Applicant opportunity to respond to public comments – three-minutes. (At the discretion of the Chair, time may be extended depending on the number of comments made during public comment.) 8. Chair closes the public hearing. 9.
