White, Commissioner Michael Woo, Commissioner (NOTE: THE REGULAR MEETING WILL CONVENE AFTER THE ADJOURNMENT OF THE SPECIAL MEETING) PRESENTATION "Do Real Planning" Presented by members of the Los Angeles City Planning Commission The Central Area Planning Commission has invited the City Planning Commission to give its presentation on “Do Real Planning”, a 14-point land use planning policy which the Commission spent 18 months studying. We, like the City Planning Commission, have been energized in this assignment by the Mayor, our new Planning Director, and by you. Like you, we have been struck by the absence of shared principles that guide both planning decisions and the many companion decisions generated elsewhere in City Hall. Both the Central Area Planning Commission and the City Planning Commission are eager to have you participate in the conversation after the presentation. The presentation will conclude in under an hour and will be followed by a question and answer session.
