Rondeau, MAA Assessor Regan Flood Assessor r MINUTES THE MEETING OF THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS LOWELL MA April 11, 2023 The meeting of the Board of Assessors was called to order on Tuesday April 11, 2023 at 5:00 PM in Room 36 at Lowell City Hall, In attendance: Assr. R. Rondeau, Assr. R. Flood and Chair E. Brideau 1) Review of minutes April 4, 2023. – Motion to approve with minor grammar edits, R. Rondeau, seconded, R. Flood. Motion passed - unanimous 2) Applications for MOTOR VEHICLE EXCISE TAX ABATEMENTS (supporting documentation attached to each application)  Motor Vehicle Excise Abatement for April 3, 2023 – April 7, 2023 156 abatement applications presented, all met the qualifying criteria, 3) Statutory Exemptions 1 – Clause 22 – denied by signature 1- Clause 22 and 4- Clause 41C applications to approve, all met the qualifying criteria. Motion to approve, R. Flood, seconded, R. Rondeau, motion passed - unanimous 4) FY24 3ABC Applications 2- 1 – application to approve, met the qualifying criteria. Motion to approve, R. Flood, seconded, R. Rondeau, motion passed - unanimous 5) FY23 Real Estate and Personal Property Abatements None - presented 6) Old Business - Assr. Rondeau inquired regarding remaining applications in file that are incomplete. It was agreed that they would be reviewed one more time and brought to the next meeting for BOA action. 7) New Business – None Motion to adjourn, R. Flood, seconded by R.
