Rondeau, MAA Deputy Chief Assessor THE MEETING OF THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS LOWELL MA March 27, 2024 A meeting of the Board of Assessors took place on March 19, 2024 at 10:00 AM in Room 36 at Lowell City Hall: In attendance: Chief Assessor; E. Brideau, Deputy Assessor; R. Rondeau 1. Review of minutes from March 05, 2024 meeting - R. Rondeau motion to accept the minutes, E. Brideau 2nd – Unanimous. 2. Applications for MOTOR VEHICLE EXCISE TAX ABATEMENTS (supporting documentation attached to each application)  Motor Vehicle Excise Abatements o Week of February 26 to March 01 - Approved by signatures o Week of March 04 to March 08 - Approved by signatures 3. Statutory Exemptions – Clause 17E: 2 applications, Clause 22: 2 applications, and Clause 41C: 2 applications – E. Brideau made a motion to approve these applications, R. Rondeau 2nd – Unanimous. 4. Q4 Real Estate and Personal Property warrant and commitment – to be approved by signatures 5. FY24 Real Estate and Personal Property Abatements – 26 RE applications were denied and 5 RE were granted – approved by signatures 6. FY25 3ABC – 11 3ABC applications 7. Old Business - None 8. New Business – we have received a 2015-2024 uncollectible PP report from the Treasurer’s office – Approved by signatures Motion to adjourn at 10:08 AM R. Rondeau, E. Brideau 2nd – Unanimous.
