Rondeau, MAA THE MEETING OF THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS Deputy Chief Assessor LOWELL MA April 10, 2025 Amy Lombardo A meeting of the Board of Assessors took place on April 8, 2025 at 9:00 AM in Room 36 at Assessor Lowell City Hall: In attendance: Chief Assessor; E. Brideau, Deputy Chief Assessor; R. Rondeau, Assessor; A. Lombardo, Assessor; C. Hughes 1. Review of minutes from April 1, 2025 meeting – R. Rondeau made a motion to approve the minutes, A. Lombardo 2nd – Unanimous. 2. Applications for MOTOR VEHICLE EXCISE TAX ABATEMENTS (supporting documentation attached to each application)  Motor Vehicle Excise Abatements o Week of March 17 to March 21 – Approved by signatures o 3 applications were denied by signatures 3. Statutory Exemptions: Clause 22: 1 application – E. Brideau made a motion to approve, A. Lombardo 2nd – Unanimous.  Clause 22: 1 application did not meet the qualifying criteria and denied by signatures  Clause 22: 1 application, Clause 17E: 2 applications, and Clause 41C: 1 application were not completed and denied by signatures 4. FY25 Real Estate Abatements  4 applications were approved – R. Rondeau made a motion to approve, A. Lombardo 2nd – Unanimous.  2 applications were denied by signatures  1 ATB settlement was approved for 802 Roger St 5. FY26 3ABC: 1 application was approved ─ R. Rondeau made a motion to approve, A. Lombardo 2nd 6. Old Business – None 7. New Business – E. Brideau made a motion to exempt and abate the tax on 3 properties that were purchased by UML, A. Lombardo 2nd ─ Unanimous. Motion to adjourn at 9:33 AM E. Brideau, R. Rondeau 2nd – Unanimous.
