Rondeau, MAA MINUTES Deputy Chief Assessor Amy Lombardo THE MEETING OF THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS Assessor LOWELL MA July 23, 2026 A meeting of the Board of Assessors took place on July 21, 2026, at 9:30 AM in Room 36 at Lowell City Hall: In attendance: Chief Assessor; Ellen Brideau, Deputy Chief Assessor; R. Rondeau, Assessor; A. Lombardo E. Brideau called to order the meeting at 9:30 AM 1. Review of minutes from July 07, 2026 and July 10, 2026 meetings – R. Rondeau made a motion to approve the minutes, A. Lombardo 2nd – Unanimous. 2. Applications for MOTOR VEHICLE EXCISE TAX ABATEMENTS (supporting documentation attached to each application)  Motor Vehicle Excise Abatements o Week of June 29 to July 03 – Approved by signatures o Week of July 06 to July 10 – Approved by signatures o MVE Abatements for denial – 1, R. Rondeau made a motion to approve, A. Lombardo 2nd – Unanimous. 3. Statutory Exemptions – Clause 17E: 19 applications, Clause 22: 78 applications, Clause 22A: 1 application, Clause 22C: 2 applications, Clause 22D: 13 applications, Clause 22E: 53 applications, Clause 37A: 6 applications, Clause 41C: 24 applications – A. Lombardo made a motion to approve these applications, R. Rondeau 2nd – Unanimous.  2 Clause 41C applications were denied by signatures 4. New Business – Not anticipated within 48 hours  2 ATB settlements were approved by signatures 5. Old Business – None Motion to adjourn at 9:48 AM R. Rondeau, A. Lombardo 2nd – Unanimous.
