SPECIAL MEETING AUDITOR INTERVIEW CONT.
1. ROLL CALL
Roll Call showed 9 present.
M. Samaras presiding.
2. MAYOR'S BUSINESS
2.1. Supplemental Interview Of Kara McSwiggin Due To Technical Difficulties Of
August 12th Interview.
In City Council, M. Samaras introduced body to candidate noting the SKYPE difficulties
of earlier interview and that it was only fair to have her present before the body. Ms.
McSwiggin provided opening remarks outlining her education and work experience. C.
Leahy questioned Ms. McSwiggin regarding budget management of the school
department as well as attendance at Council meetings. C. Mercier questioned Ms.
McSwiggin regarding municipal auditor management; work availability; management
style; and qualities for the position. C. Milinazzo questioned Ms. McSwiggin regarding
municipal experience; payroll oversight; and third party audit response. C. Nuon
questioned Ms. McSwiggin regarding experience as an auditor; working with
administration and department heads; and supervisory experience. M. Samaras
questioned Ms. McSwiggin regarding communication skills with all relevant parties as
well as enforcing compliance with rules and regulations. C. Cirillo questioned Ms.
McSwiggin regarding her opinion of the City. C. Conway questioned Ms. McSwiggin
regarding her earliest availability to begin job if selected as well as her planned
performance for the first 90 days on the job. C. Kennedy questioned Ms. McSwiggin
regarding her work experience as well as her earliest possible start time. C. Milinazzo
questioned Ms. McSwiggin if it would be possible to stagger her start time at the
beginning. C. Mercier questioned Ms. McSwiggin regarding her position on the
Retirement Board as well. Ms. McSwiggin provided closing remarks outlining her
commitment to the job.

In City Council, Motion to Adjourn by C. Elliott, seconded by C. Kennedy. So voted.
