Geary City Clerk Regular Meeting Minutes Date: November 2, 2020 Time: 5:00 PM Location: Mayor’s Reception Room / Via Zoom Lowell, MA 1. ROLL CALL Roll Call showed 7 present, 2 absent (C. Nuon, M. Leahy) Vice Chair Mercier presiding. 2. CITY COUNCIL - EXECUTIVE SESSION 2.1. Executive Session - Regarding matter of litigation, namely Huot et al v. City of Lowell, public discussion of which could have a detrimental effect on the City's position. In City Council, Vice Chair Mercier stated reason for Executive Session, Motion by C. Elliott, seconded by C. Drinkwater to enter Executive Session for stated purpose and adjourn from Executive Session (5:05 PM). Adopted per Roll Call vote 7 yeas, 2 absent (C. Nuon, M. Leahy). So voted. Vice Chair Mercier stated that body would adjourn from the Executive Session. 3. ADJOURNMENT Motion to recess straight to Executive Session on date to be scheduled via Zoom by C. Rourke, seconded by C. Drinkwater. So voted.
