Continued Business CPA Application: 243 Worthen Street, 01852 The Whistler House Museum of Art has applied to the Community Preservation Committee seeking $400,000 of CPA funds for an Outdoor Recreation project. The applicant proposes to expand and rehabilitate the existing park at 243 Worthen Street, abutting the Whistler House Museum. The application proposes to turn the existing park into a multi- functional green space. IV. New Business CPA Application: 88 Middle Street, 01852 Middlesex Community College has applied to the Community Preservation Committee seeking $458,708 of CPA funds for a Historic Preservation project. The applicant proposes to use the funds to restore historic characteristics of the historic Derby Building. CPA Application: 228 Worthen Street, 01852 Girls Inc. of Lowell has applied to the Community Preservation Committee seeking $352,925 of CPA funds for a Historic Preservation project. The applicant proposes to use the funds to reimburse themselves for the purchase of the property at 228 Worthen Street and for architectural consulting work associated with the historic preservation of the building. CPA Application: 375 Merrimack Street, 01852 The City of Lowell has applied to the Community Preservation Committee seeking $473,713 of CPA funds for a Historic Preservation project. The applicant proposes to utilize the funds to restore stained glass windows within Lowell City Hall. CPA Application: 80 Gorham Street, 01852 New Gorham, LLC has applied to the Community Preservation Committee seeking $178,100 of CPA funds for a Historic Preservation project. The applicant proposes to use the funds to repair the façade and complete structural work on the property located at 80 Gorham Street. The property has fallen into disrepair and requires significant structural work to redevelop the property. V. Other Business Election of Officers VI. Notices VII.
