Roll Call: Andy Hostetler, Frank Baskin, Judy Huber, Molyka Tieng, Lil Hartman. Guests: John King, Odis Spencer. Absent: Beverly Gonsalves (excused), Gilda James (excused), Joyce Dastou, John Lawlor, Anne Marie Porter. II. Pledge of Allegiance III. Approval of March Minutes – unable to approve without quorum. IV. Chairperson’s Report – welcomed new member Frank Baskin. Age Friendly focus groups expected soon, may request Board help in recruiting volunteers. Aurora is ready to present Empower information at the next Action Group meeting April 25, and the group will conduct an official walk audit around the senior center, looking at our streets and sidewalks through the eyes of someone with mobility impairment. The Age Friendly survey is available in the lobby and on our website. V. Director’s Report – Lil shared her written report. A Memory Café for people with dementia and their care partners will begin June 2 at Summit/Fallon on D’Youville campus. VI. Guest Presenter: none VII. Committee Reports: none VIII. Items for Discussion: none IX. Other – Lil will check that chairs with wheels are not available for public use in cafeteria or lobby. Outreach team will present at May meeting. Judy Huber will work with Lil on May / Nutrition Month and Board will discuss nutrition and food security program plan for FY23 at the June Board meeting. X.
