Social Media
You are responsible for gathering photos and other social media worth info from your assigned
grantees. This keeps the work balanced for all. You can also help promote the events in advance this
way.
We can all be admins on the social media accounts. But for now, please send any pictures or
information to Max so that we have one person managing the flow of it all.
Please encourage your grantees to choose dates for their events if they have not done so already. They
can be included in the Like Lowell weekly e-mail. Tori can also film the events. Please mention the MCC
in the description.
Grantee Liaison
You should all have reached out to your grantees. If you have not done so yet, please do so immediately.
The list and a sample e-mail have been included for you.
Community Input Meeting
Covers what the community wants and will determine one point of our guidelines. We determine the
rest. Usually held in May but will be moved earlier so that we have more time to create the guidelines.
Fundraising
We are looking into an easy event that will be unique. We cannot put grantees in a position where they
feel that their chances for a grant may depend on their participation or a donation. This is somewhat
limiting. We would like to choose an event that is unique that will make people want to attend (eg, an
axe throwing event such as the next Kinetic Sculpture Race is hosting insert event details here.) Carnival
game type options are also an option - such as a dunk tank, duck race, etc.
