Introduction: Jessica O’Hearn, Mosaic Lowell Executive Director a. They have a 10-year plan to facilitate arts and culture in Lowell b. Organization of “Experience Lowell” which is a low fee tabling space for emerging artists c. They could potentially help constituents in Lowell that submit grants with grant writing workshops d. They can help spread the word about serving as volunteers on the Lowell cultural council e. Erin will share Jessica’s contact information with us 2. Discussion of potential Council-Initiated Programming in 2024. f. We get 10% of what the state allocates to grant to through the LCC for a council initiated project 3. Lowell Chamber Orchestra g. Reimbursement was not submitted online last year h. Going forward we should request getting an email confirmation if something is sent in through regular mail 4. Grantee project promotion support i. MOSAIC could be one of the avenues that help us market LCC-funded projects j. Committee members should share posts on their social media as well 5. Britton Boughner k. Gifts and farewell speech l.
