Lowell Cultural Council Meeting Minutes June 27, 2023 Attending: Erin Duffey (Administrator); Rona Gofstein; Beth Noel; Kshitij Karke (KK); Olu Ibrahim; Megan Stebbins; Timmy Al-Muntafik; Beth Welch The meeting was called to order at 6:34 PM. 1. Public art permit applications for review and signature: a. Application for Mural installation at 479 Market Street by Project LEARN b. Application for Interactive Public Art Piece at 75 Bridge Street by Alexandra Bellville 2. Grant for signature; 01-23 City of Lowell Spring Clean-up Series 3. General grant discussion 4. Beth spoke about LCC at a recent conference about the grant process - MCC has more opportunities for grant funding - Erin will make new members smart simple accounts - Surveys from MCC 5. Folk Festival - We are getting a popup tent - It would be good for us to have a table - We will make sure there is information there, hopefully we will also have dates for the new grant cycle - Printed materials to hand out, perhaps a QR code - Link to the MCC or Lowell Meeting adjourned at 7:33 PM.
