On a roll call at 6:36 p.m., all members were present, namely: Mr. Leary, Ms. Martin, Ms. Ross-
Sitcawich, Ms. Scott, Mr. Conway, Mayor/Chairman Elliott and Mr. Gendron.
SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS:
3. 2015 / 462 - Spotlight on Excellence: Lowell High School; Cheerleading,
Crew Team, Boys’ Cross Country, Girls’ Cross Country, Boys’ Soccer
The Spotlight on Excellence presentation recognized the Lowell High School Girls’ Cross Country Team,
Cheerleading, Crew Team, Boys’ Cross Country Team, and Soccer as well as their individual and team
accomplishments. Mr. DeProfio, the Athletic Director at Lowell High School recognized the coaches and
athletes. The coaches then shared the highlights and accomplishments of their season. Each individual
athlete introduced themselves to the Committee.
The report was accepted as a report of progress.

5. 2015 / 481 - Introduction of Rolan Boucher, Kathryn Philbin Stoklosa Middle School
Interim Principal.
Interim Stoklosa Principal Rolan Boucher introduced himself to the Committee and said that he is very
excited for this opportunity and is eager to start.

(CTI) contract in the amount of $127,389.
Mayor Elliott publicly disclosed that he presently is a non-salaried board member of Community
Teamwork, Inc. (CTI).

passed. The Committee did discuss this motion briefly on the floor and spoke about further
communication with the Greater Lowell Technical High School.

CONVENTION/CONFERENCE REQUESTS:
32. 2015 / 498 - Lowell High School Boys' and Girls' Indoor Track and Field Teams and
coaches; Timothy Patterson, Philip Maia, David Casey and Scott Ouellette
to travel to the Dartmouth Relays at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New
Hampshire on January 8th and 9th 2016 with one overnight stay at the
Days Inn. A $250.00 entry fees will be paid by the Athletic Department
budget. All other expenses associated with the trip of approximately
$1.000.00, will be paid by the Friends of Lowell High School Track
Committee and the student-athletes.
