LOWELL SCHOOL COMMITTEE SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES Date: July 2, 2019 Time: 5:30PM Location: City Hall-Mayor's Reception Room, 375 Merrimack Street, 2nd Floor, Lowell, MA 01852 1. SALUTE TO FLAG 2. ROLL CALL On a roll call at 5:37 p.m., all members were present, namely: Mr. Hoey, Mr. Lay, Ms. Martin, Mr. Nutter, Mayor Samaras, Mr. Descoteaux and Ms. Doherty. 3. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS 3.I. Purpose: At this Special Meeting of the School Committee it is anticipated that the matter below will be discussed in Executive Session. 4. EXECUTIVE SESSION 4.I. Agenda Item: To meet and discuss litigation strategy regarding a claim brought by Dr. Salah Khelfaoui, public discussion of which could have a detrimental effect on the City’s position, as well as to review minutes of past executive session meetings for their possible release.
