Petition: The proposal consists of a change in use from nursing home to multi-family residential with 18 units

Petition: The applicant proposes to convert the former Merrimack Valley Hebrew Academy into eight (8)
residential dwelling units. The applicant is seeking relief for minimum lot area per dwelling unit and front and
side yard setbacks under Section 5.1 and 8.1.3 of the Lowell Zoning Ordinance. The applicant is also seeking
relief for parking under Section 6.1: Off-Street Parking. Additionally, the applicant is seeking relief from Section
8.1.2 to allow the conversion of a former religious school by waiving the sixty (60) year requirement and any other
relief that is required.
