TOWN OF LOXAHATCHEE GROVES RESILIENCY VULNERABILILTY ASSESSMENT (FDEP) K&A Project No. 23- 1436 Town PO# 775 PUBLIC OUTREACH MEETING NO. 2 ANNOUNCEMENT Wednesday, July 9th at 5:00 PM-7:00 PM The Town of Loxahatchee Groves would like to cordially invite all residents to attend an informational discussion regarding the FDEP Resillent Florida grant program. The Town has been awar- ded a grant to complete a Town-wide Resillency Vulnerability Assessment pursuant to Section 380.093 Florida Statutes (F.S.). The Vulnerability Assessment includes mapping the locations of existing drainage assets and modeling system performance during simulated storm events to identify potential risks. The Town will provide an introduction and discussion of the plan to complete the Vulnerability Assessment. The purpose of this meeting is to: • Review results of the model simulations, exposure and sensitivity analysis. • Allow public to provide community-specific input of the resu lts. • Discuss guiding factors to consider and critical assets important to the community.
