Community Input: Meeting Open to the Public: (Limit comments to 5 minutes per person) The City of Luna Pier operates under rules of parliamentary procedure, which states, “Citizens have the right to attend the meetings and be permitted to address the body on matters that are relevant to business. Citizens must observe all of the rules that are set. Members of the public attending the meetings of the governmental body DO NOT have the right to interrupt or heckle. During public comment time, they have the right to ask to be heard by requesting permission of the body through the Mayor. All questions, comments and remarks must ALWAYS be addressed through the Mayor.” Public Comment time is just that—an opportunity for the public to comment. It is NOT a time for a debate, exchange of ideas, or opportunity to harass board members, all of which will not be permitted at the City of Luna Pier Council meetings. 11. Council Action Needed: A. Lighthouse Flooring • A proposed motion to approve/deny the Lighthouse Flooring quote from Morr-Kare Flooring not to exceed ($10,000) ten thousand dollars as presented, waiving the reading. B. Special Event Application-Parks & Rec.-Summer Smash • A proposed motion to approve/deny the Special Event Application for the Summer Smash for Parks & Rec. on June 17, 2023 from 12pm to 4pm waiving the fee as presented, waive the reading. C. Special Events Application-Freedom Festival • A proposed motion to approve/deny the Special Events Application for the Freedom Festival for July 1, 2023 waiving the fee as presented waiving the reading. D. Playground Equipment for 1st St Park • A proposed motion to approve/deny the 1st St Park Playground Equipment in the amount of ($24,396.00) twenty-four thousand, three hundred ninety-six dollars with the funds coming from_____________ as presented, waiving the reading. E.
