10. Community Input: Meeting Open to the Public:
(Limit comments to 5 minutes per person)
The City of Luna Pier operates under rules of parliamentary procedure, which states, “Citizens have the right to
attend the meetings and be permitted to address the body on matters that are relevant to business. Citizens must
observe all of the rules that are set. Members of the public attending the meetings of the governmental body DO
NOT have the right to interrupt or heckle. During public comment time, they have the right to ask to be heard by
requesting permission of the body through the Mayor. All questions, comments and remarks must ALWAYS be
addressed through the Mayor.” Public Comment time is just that—an opportunity for the public to comment. It is
NOT a time for a debate, exchange of ideas, or opportunity to harass board members, all of which will not be
permitted at the City of Luna Pier Council meetings.
11. Council Action Needed:
A. Planning Commission Request for $75.00 for posting the Master Plan REP
• A proposed motion to approve/deny the Master Plan REP posting in the
amount of ($75.00) Seventy-five dollars as presented, waiving the
reading.
B. Great Lakes Greenery LLC, Marihuana Retail Facility Renewal License
Application
• A proposed motion to approve/deny the application from Great Lakes
Greenery LLC for the Retail License Renewal with all required
paperwork and ($5000.00) five-thousand-dollar fee being paid for one
(1) year as presented, waiving the reading.
C. Great Lakes Greenery LLC, Marihuana Provisioning Facility Renewal
License Application
• A proposed motion to approve/deny the application from Great Lakes
Greenery LLC for the Provisional License Renewal with all required
paperwork and ($5000.00) five-thousand-dollar fee being paid for one
(1) year as presented, waiving the reading.
D. Patrick Smith-Lot Split-10765 Elmhurst St. Lot 46
• A propose motion to approve/deny the Patrick Smith lot split@ 10765
Elmhurst Lot 46 and adding it to parcel # 51.080.015.00 Allen Giles as
presented, waiving the reading.
E. SEMCOG Membership Renewal 2023/24
• A proposed motion to approve/deny the SEMCOG Membership Renewal
for 2023/24 in the amount of ($852.00) eight hundred fifty-two dollars
as presented, waiving the reading.
F. Request from Director of Municipal Services-Dave Gautz- Resolution #941-
Water Rates and Charges
• A proposed motion to approve/deny the change made to the
Resolution #941 to put on hold and do not increase the rate this year
until a new rate study can be conducted as presented, waiving the
reading.
G. Resolution No. 968-Early Voting
• A proposed motion to approve/deny the Resolution No.968-Early
Voting as presented, waiving the reading.
H. LP Shared Use Path Study
• A proposed motion to approve/deny the Luna Pier Shared Use Path
