Community Input: Meeting Open to the Public: (Limit comments to 5 minutes per person) The City of Luna Pier operates under rules of parliamentary procedure, which states, “Citizens have the right to attend the meetings and be permitted to address the body on matters that are relevant to business. Citizens must observe all of the rules that are set. Members of the public attending the meetings of the governmental body DO NOT have the right to interrupt or heckle. During public comment time, they have the right to ask to be heard by requesting permission of the body through the Mayor. All questions, comments and remarks must ALWAYS be addressed through the Mayor.” Public Comment time is just that—an opportunity for the public to comment. It is NOT a time for a debate, exchange of ideas, or opportunity to harass board members, all of which will not be permitted at the City of Luna Pier Council meetings. 11. Council Action Needed: A. Ordinance No. 231-B Parking Amendment-Second Reading • A proposed motion to approve/deny Ordinance No. 231-B Parking Amendment-Second Reading with the verbiage changes to include changes from the sub-committee and the approval from attorney as presented, waiving the reading. B. Ordinance No.247-A-To Extend the Limited Moratorium-Second Reading • A proposed motion to approve/deny Ordinance No. 247-A- To Extend the Limited Moratorium on the development of Junk Yards-Second Reading as presented, waiving the reading. C. Budget Amendments • A proposed motion to approve/deny the Budget Amendments for Insurance line in the amount of ($6446.00) six thousand, four hundred forty-six dollars and Parks & Rec New Equipment line in the amount of ($22,296.00) twenty-two thousand, two hundred ninety-six dollars as presented, waiving the reading. D. MERS- Correction Action Plan • A proposed motion to approve/deny the MERS-Corrective Action Plan that included the Pension Grant that the City received in the amount of ($872,896.00) eight hundred seventy-two thousand, eight hundred ninety-six dollars as presented, waiving the reading. 12.
