Community Input: Meeting Open to the Public: (Limit comments to 5 minutes per person) The City of Luna Pier operates under rules of parliamentary procedure, which states, “Citizens have the right to attend the meetings and be permitted to address the body on matters that are relevant to business. Citizens must observe all of the rules that are set. Members of the public attending the meetings of the governmental body DO NOT have the right to interrupt or heckle. During public comment time, they have the right to ask to be heard by requesting permission of the body through the Mayor. All questions, comments and remarks must ALWAYS be addressed through the Mayor.” Public Comment time is just that—an opportunity for the public to comment. It is NOT a time for a debate, exchange of ideas, or opportunity to harass board members, all of which will not be permitted at the City of Luna Pier Council meetings. 11. Council Action Needed: A. Calkins Hehl Rafko Engagement Letter for Audit 2025 • A proposed motion to approve/deny the Calkins Hehl Rafko Engagement Letter for performing the 2025 audit at an estimated fee of $19,600 as presented, waiving the reading. B. QPS Michigan Holdings Provisional MF License • A proposed motion to approve/deny the QPS Michigan Holdings Provisional MF License to be granted as presented, waiving the reading. C. DDA Sidewalk Proposal • A proposed motion to approve/deny the DDA Sidewalk Proposal to add sidewalks, widen existing sidewalks, and install a base pad for the oversized Adirondack chair in the area extending from the beach/Lighthouse area and to the west Luna Pier parking lot area as presented, waiving the reading. D. Street Closure Request • A proposed motion to approve/deny the closure of Oak St. on Saturday, September 20th for a Block Party, with the closure starting at 4 pm and reopening at 12 am as presented, waiving the reading. E. Tennis Court Resurfacing Funding Request • A proposed motion to approve/deny granting additional funds in the amount of $1,946 to the Parks & Rec 2025-2026 budget to subsidized the amount needed to resurface the tennis court as presented, waiving the reading.
