City Council Meeting (Joint Work Session)
September 22, 2022
1. CALL TO ORDER
The Special Joint Council, Lynden School District, and Lynden Regional Parks &
Recreation District (joint work session) was held at 516 Main Street, Lynden.
The Lynden School Board called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and conducted
scheduled school board business for the first 10 minutes of the meeting and then
opened the work session portion of the meeting. .
ROLL CALL
Mayor Scott Korthuis and Council Members Gary Bode, Nick Laninga, and Mark
Wohlrab present.
Members absent: Brent Lenssen, Ron DeValois, Gerald Kuiken, and Kyle Strengholt
absent with notice.
Staff present: Fire Chief Mark Billmire, Police Chief Steve Taylor, Public Works Director
Steve Banham, City Administrator John Williams.
2. Work Session
The meeting agenda is made a part of this official council meeting file and discussion of
the agenda items was held.
3. ADJOURNMENT
The September 22, 2022 special session of the Lynden City Council Joint meeting with
Lynden School District, and Lynden Regional Parks & Recreation District. adjourned at
8:40 p.m.
