JOINT MEETING AGENDA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special joint meeting of the City Council of the City of Lynwood, California,
and the Board of Education of the Lynwood Unified School District, as called by the City Council of the City of
Lynwood/ Lynwood Unified School District will be held on the 29th day of July 2026, at 5:30 p.m., at the
Lynwood Unified School District Office, 11321 Bullis Road, Board Room B-105, B-106, Lynwood, California,
90262.
Individual speakers shall be allowed three minutes to address the Lynwood City Council and Lynwood Unified
School District Board of Education Joint Collaborative during public comment. With Joint Collaborative consent,
there may be an increase or decrease on the time allowed for public presentation, depending on the topic and the
number of persons wishing to be heard. The Joint Collaborative may take a poll of speakers for or against a
particular issue and may ask that additional persons speak only if they have something new to add.
AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT OF 1990 - To comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act of
1990, Assistive Listening Devices (ALD) are available for check out at the meeting. If you require special
assistance to participate in this meeting, please contact the Assistant Superintendent’s Office at 310-886-1490.
Notification at least 48 hours prior to the meeting will enable the District to make reasonable arrangements to
ensure accessibility to the Board meeting.

Lynwood City Council and Lynwood Unified School District Board of Education Joint Collaborative meetings are
open to the public and are being held in person in the Lynwood Unified School District Office, 11321 Bullis
Road, Board Room B-105, B-106, Lynwood, California, 90262. Public comment is only guaranteed to be taken in
person at the Lynwood Unified School District Office during the meeting. The public may view and participate

No action or discussion is permitted on any item not included on the posted agenda per GC §
54954.2 (a). No action may be taken and no discussion held on items raised by the public except as
provided in GC § 54954.2(b)
This portion provides an opportunity for the public to address the Lynwood City Council Board of Education
and Joint Collaborative on items within the jurisdiction of the joint collaborative and not listed on the agenda.
There should be no substantial discussion of the issue by the Lynwood Joint Collaborative, but the Lynwood
Joint Collaborative may refer the matter to staff or schedule substantive discussion for a future meeting. (The
Ralph M. Brown Act, Government Code Section 54954.2 (a).)
PLEASE SUBMIT PUBLIC COMMENT FORMS PRIOR TO START OF MEETING
Per Board Policy #9323, three (3) minutes may be allotted to each speaker to address all their items. If
translation services are required, please state that, and an additional one (1) minute will be allotted.
Approach the lectern and give your name.
The public has the opportunity to address the Board on any item appearing on the agenda or not on the
agenda. Persons wishing to address the Board are asked to fill out a Public Comment Form located at the
sign-in area, and submit the completed form to the administrative assistant prior to start of meeting.

With Board consent, the president may increase or decrease the time allowed for public presentation,
depending on the topic and the number of persons wishing to be heard.
