Crowford, City Manager and Aimee Servedio, City Clerk CM: The first item presented to you is a follow-up from a previous Workshop. The Board made a consensus for the Assistant City Manager/Finance Director to proceed and work on these Budget and Financial Policies. The ACM/FD has a guest speaker coming in to present on this item and get the procedures started. The second item is more of a housekeeping issue. Essentially there are several terms that expire on the various City Appointed Boards (Library Board, Planning Commission, and Civil Service Commission). These terms are being advertised by the City Clerk and we will be receiving applications until June 9th, 2015. The last item may just be an item that can be briefly discussed now. The Commission has been recently outfitted with iPads in order to receive and view the agenda packets. Some have been requesting that a 05/12/2015 BOC Agenda Setting Meeting 1 12 paper copy still be available. We just want to make sure that you are receiving the packets and materials as best suits your needs. Vice-Mayor Poe: Loves the iPads and how much easier it makes receiving the Agenda Packets. She requests that only the agenda itself be printed out in a hard, paper copy form to use as a guide. Commissioner Lister agreed. The Board decided that they wish to continue receiving everything electronically with only the agenda itself in paper form. Item 3 was removed from the Workshop Agenda because it was decided at this meeting. A motion to approve the May 26, 2015 Workshop Agenda was made by Vice-Mayor Poe and seconded by Commissioner Shontz.
