THE CITY OF MADEIRA BEACH, FLORIDA PUBLIC NOTICE AGENDA PARLIAMENTARY PROCEDURE WORKSHOP 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. The Florida League of Cities will meet in the Patricia Shontz Commission chambers at City Hall, located at 300 Municipal Drive, Madeira Beach, Florida to discuss the agenda items of City Business listed at the time indicated below. 10:00 A.M. WEDNESDAY, MAY 8, 2019 COMMISSION CHAMBERS PARLIAMENTARY PROCEDURE WORKSHOP Ann Guiberson, Professional Parliamentarian 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Training to be provided by Ann Guiberson, PRP includes: 1. Presentation on the importance of procedural rules on April 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. (15 minutes) 2. Parliamentary Procedure Workshop on May 8, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 12:00 noon, including: a. Instructional presentation b. Interactive learning activities c. Handout resource d. Questions and answers period Overview of Experience Ann works with trade associations, professional societies, and other organizations to have better meetings, improved governance processes, and confident leadership.
