City of Madeira Beach Agenda Special Magistrate / Variance/ Special Exception / Code Enforcement Monday, November 4, 2019 @ 2:00 PM City Commission Chamber The Special Magistrate of the City of Madeira Beach, Florida will meet in the Patricia Shontz Commission chambers at City Hall, located at 300 Municipal Drive, Madeira Beach, Florida to discuss the agenda items of City Business listed at the time indicated below. Meetings will be televised on Spectrum Chanel 640 and Live Streamed on the Cities Website. A. CALL TO ORDER I. Agenda Packet: SMSE 2019-02 Special Magistrate Agenda Packet 11-4-09 B. SPECIAL MAGISTRATE STATEMENT C. ADMINISTRATION OF OATH TO RESPONDENTS/WITNESSES D. NEW BUSINESS I. APPLICATION 2019.02 Property Owner/ Applicant: Barbara Wohlegumuth & Carolyn Stapleton 6505 2nd Ave N St. Petersburg, FL 33710 Property Address: 14249 Gulf Blvd Parcel I.D.#: 09-31-15-34308-002-0030 Land Use/Zoning: Residential Office Retail (ROR)/Retail Commercial (C-3) Request: Section 110-319. Special Exception Uses. (8) Single-Family or Duplex. Sec 110-320- Minimum site area requirements. (1)B. Duplex and Triplex Units: 3,000 square feet per Dwelling unit Special Exception Request: The applicant is requesting a special exception for a single- family dwelling unit, under Madeira Beach Land Development Regulations, Chapter 110, Article V, Division C-3 (Retail Commercial), Sec 110-319 – Special Exception Uses. (8) Single-Family or duplex. E. OLD BUSINESS F. ADJOURNMENT One or more Elected or Appointed Officials may be in attendance. Any person who decides to appeal any decision of the Special Magistrate with respect to any matter considered at this meeting will need a record of the proceedings and for such purposes may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. The law does not require the minutes to be transcribed verbatim; therefore, the applicant must make the necessary arrangements with a private reporter or private reporting firm and bear the resulting expense.
