City of Madelia Council Meeting Monday, September 11, 2017 The meeting was called to order by Mayor Mike Grote. Those in attendance were; Andy Gappa, and Dave Whitney and Larry Schickling. A Motion was made by Dave Whitney and seconded by Andy Gappa to approve the agenda. Voting in favor of said motion, Mike Grote, Andy Gappa, Dave Whitney and Larry Schickling. Voting against none, motion was approved with John Nelson absent. A Motion was made by Larry Schickling and seconded by Andy Gappa to approve the minutes of the August 28, 2017 City Council Meeting. Voting in favor of said motion, Mike Grote, Andy Gappa, Dave Whitney and Larry Chickling. Voting against none, motion was approved with John Nelson absent. A Motion was made by Andy Gappa and seconded by Larry Chickling to approve the bills as listed. Voting in favor of said motion, Mike Grote, Andy Gappa, Dave Whitney and Larry Schickling. Voting against none, motion was approved with John Nelson absent. A Motion was made by and seconded by Andy Gappa to approve advertising for a 2018 ambulance rig. Voting in favor of said motion, Mike Grote, Andy Gappa, Dave Whitney and Larry Chickling. Voting against none, motion was approved with John Nelson absent. A Motion was made by Mike Grote and seconded by Andy Gappa to approve the job description for Liquor Store Manager. Voting in favor of said motion, Mike Grote, Andy Gappa, Dave Whitney and Larry Chickling. Voting against none, motion was approved with John Nelson absent. With no further business before the Council, A Motion was made by Andy Gappa and seconded by Larry Chickling to adjourn the meeting. Voting in favor of said motion, Mike Grote, Andy Gappa, Dave Whitney and Larry Chickling. Voting against none, motion was approved with John Nelson absent.
