City Council

City Council Meeting Monday, April 8, 2019 The meeting was called to order by Mayor Mike Grote. Those in attendance were; Mike Grote, Andy Gappa, Cody Eager, Larry Schickling and Dave Whitney. A Motion was made by Andy Gappa and seconded by Cody Eager to approve the Consent Items. Voting in favor of said motion, Mike Grote, Cody Eager, Dave Whitney, Larry Schickling and Andy Gappa, motion was approved. A Motion was made by Andy Gappa and seconded by Larry Schickling to adopt Resolution 2019-6, A Resolution Establishing procedures relating to Compliance with Reimbursement Bond Regulations under the Internal Revenue Code. Voting in favor of said motion; Mike Grote, Cody Eager, Dave Whitney, Larry Schickling and Andy Gappa; motion was approved. A Motion was made by Larry Schickling and seconded by Dave Whitney to approve the inter-fund loan of $85,000 from the Water Fund to pay for the street sweeper. The inter- fund loan will be reimbursed at the time bonding is established for the street shop rebuild. Voting in favor of said motion; Mike Grote, Cody Eager, Dave Whitney, Larry Schickling and Andy Gappa; motion was approved. City Administrator, Chris Fischer gave an update of the CTV repairs. City Hall is establishing a committee to discuss the operations and future of the current Community Channel. Anyone that is interested in being involved should contact City Hall. A Motion was made by Andy Gappa and seconded by Dave Whitney to approve new employee, Trenton (TJ) Forstner to be taken off probation. This has been discussed and approved by the personnel committee. Voting in favor of said motion, Mike Grote, Andy Gappa, Dave Whitney, Larry Schickling and Cody Eager. Motion was approved. With no further business before the Council, A Motion was made by Andy Gappa and seconded by Cody Eager to adjourn the meeting. Voting in favor of said motion, Mike Grote, Andy Gappa, Cody Eager, Larry Schickling and Dave Whitney. Voting against none, motion carried.
