City Council Meeting Monday, October 28, 2019 The meeting was called to order by Mayor Mike Grote. Those in attendance were; Mike Grote, Andy Gappa, Cody Eager, Dave Whitney and Larry Schickling. A Motion was made by Larry Schickling and seconded by Andy Gappa to approve the Consent Items. Voting in favor of said motion, Mike Grote, Cody Eager, Larry Schickling, David Whitney and Andy Gappa, motion was approved. A Motion was made by Andy Gappa and seconded by Cody Eager to adopt Resolution 2019-15, resolution for creation of the 2020 City of Madelia Complete Count Committee for the U.S. Census Bureau. Voting in favor of said motion; Mike Grote, Cody Eager, Larry Schickling, Dave Whitney and Andy Gappa; motion was approved. A Motion was made by Larry Schickling and seconded by Andy Gappa to approve the proposal from Aquatic Design Solutions, LLC to review our current pool condition and give recommendations on how to fix it. Voting in favor of said motion; Mike Grote, Cody Eager, Larry Schickling, Dave Whitney and Andy Gappa; motion was approved. A Motion was made by Larry Schickling and seconded by Cody Eager to Close the Council Meeting for a Closed Personnel Meeting. Voting in favor of said motion; Mike Grote, Cody Eager, Larry Schickling, Dave Whitney and Andy Gappa; motion was approved. A Motion was made by Larry Schickling and seconded by Dave Whitney to open the Council Meeting from a Closed Personnel Meeting. Voting in favor of said motion; Mike Grote, Cody Eager, Larry Schickling, Dave Whitney and Andy Gappa; motion was approved. With no further business before the Council, A Motion was made by Dave Whitney and seconded by Andy Gappa to adjourn the meeting. Voting in favor of said motion, Mike Grote, Andy Gappa, Cody Eager, Dave Whitney and Larry Schickling. Voting against none, motion carried.
