Susan Burcham Gave Report. Trail Tunes Account has $4,769.96
Arts Board Account has $ 4710.41
3. Social Media Update & Statistics
Chair Amber Platzke gave updates. The Arts Board added 22 Facebook page likes, 2 Instagram
followers.

4. Review of All Active Upcoming Events/Projects - Subcommittees Must Be Fewer Than Six
Members
A. Native Plant Sale Craft Table (Platzke) - May 29 Recap
Chair Amber Platzke said that the event was well attended, and she received
positive feedback.
B. Kids Painting Party Events – Upcoming Schedule/Partner with Recreation
(Platzke, Geralds, Misczak) May 21 (recap), July 16, September 17
Chair Platzke said that the event had low attendance. After the July and
September, the board will evaluate whether they will continue to host the
event or not.
C. Pride Picnic (Nagle – Chair, Geralds, Theodoroff) June 11 – Recap
Member Jennifer Nagle said that the event was very well attended. Over 25
residents showed up for the event, there were games and food and music. It
was mentioned that Huffman Park was a good location for the event and that
they plan to host the event there next year. It was also mentioned that the
weather for this event was very nice.
D. Juneteenth Art Contest “Liberation” (Geralds)
The Arts Board did not receive any submissions for this event to date.
E. Restaurant Nights (Carry Out or Dine In/Rotate Assignment)
No New Updates.
F. Trail Tunes - August 13 (Bliss, Dombroski, Palazzolo, Theodoroff, Platzke)

Zmarslik, Rohrbach)

6. Huffman Park Mural
Quality of Life Awards Approved $2,000 (Reg Council Mtg 6/14/21)
Ramirez "Mythical Creatures"
Geralds gave an update to the group. She said that Artist Jennifer Ramirez started on the park
shelter building and the project is slowly moving forward.
Status of $2,500 Grant - Greater Metropolitan Association of Realtors (Misczak) Staff Liaison
Owczarzak informed the group that we were not awarded the GMAR Grant for the Huffman
Park Mural.
7. DIA Inside/Out - On Hold - Application Deadline July 25, 2022 for 2023 Program

Pending Change to By-Laws/Board Resolution to Include Students at Large to be Appointed by
the Board
