City Council Special Meeting Madison Heights, Michigan April 08, 2024 A City Council Special Meeting was held on Monday, April 08, 2024 at 7:00 PM at City Hall Executive Conference Room - 300 W. 13 Mile Road PRESENT Mayor Roslyn Grafstein Mayor Pro Tem Mark Bliss (arrived at 7:03 p.m.) Councilman Sean Fleming Councilman William Mier Councilor Emily Rohrbach Councilman David Soltis Councilor Quinn Wright OTHERS PRESENT City Manager Melissa Marsh City Attorney Larry Sherman Deputy City Manager/City Clerk Cheryl Rottmann Police Chief Brent LeMerise Special Legal Counsel Tim Ferand (via Teams) MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC: There were no members of the public wishing to speak. CM-24-68. Closed Session. Motion at 7:01 p.m. to enter Closed Session to discuss: 1) Labor negotiations which are exempt from disclosure under Section 8 of the Open Meetings Act and 2) Litigation: Jessica Toski v. Thomas Baker and the City of Madison Heights which is exempt from disclosure under Section 8 of the Open Meetings Act. Motion made by Councilman Mier, Seconded by Councilor Rohrbach. Roll Call Vote: Voting Yea: Mayor Grafstein, Councilman Fleming, Councilman Mier, Councilor Rohrbach, Councilman Soltis, Councilor Wright Absent: Mayor Pro Tem Bliss Motion carried.
