Crime Commission Meeting Madison Heights, Michigan August 08, 2023 A Crime Commission Meeting was held on Tuesday, August 08, 2023 at 2:30 PM at City Hall - Executive Conference Room, 300 W. 13 Mile Rd. CALL TO ORDER Meeting called to order at 2:58 p.m. ROLL CALL PRESENT Martha Covert Margarette Marentette Anthony Roberts Alternate Alexandra Iaquinto ABSENT Jeffrey Hilliard - Unexcused Beth Scott - Excused Council Representative Sean Fleming - Unexcused Alternate Council Representative Quinn Wright – Excused ADJOURNMENT A quorum was not met; therefore, the meeting was adjourned. Informal discussion continued upcoming events as follows: UNFINISHED BUSINESS Follow up on the addition of Alexandra Iaquinto as a full voting member - This will take place at an August 2023 Council Meeting. The Crime Commission does not currently have a full board so Ali is able to vote effective immediately. Public Event K-9 Demonstration hours are from 12-2 and there will be 3-4 canines and their handlers at Rosies Park before Trail Tunes. NEW BUSINESS Designated Driver area during Trail Tunes Event - have a special area for attendees to call for a ride home. Make up meeting tentatively scheduled for September 12th at 2:30 p.m. 1
