CALL TO ORDER Chair Yu called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm. Minutes of February 20, 2025 Motion made by Yu to approve the minutes of February 20, 2025, Seconded by Brown. Voting Yea: Brown, Kapas, Langdon, Yu, Council Representative Wright MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC No on present wishing to speak. FOOD INSECURITY 2. Food and Supply Drives Discussed holding food drives. COMMUNITY CELEBRATIONS 3. Lantern Festival MAY 31, 2025 Motion by Yu to cosponsor Paradise Eve Lantern Festival event on May 31, 2025, Seconded by Brown. All ayes, motion passed unanimously. Motion by Brown to create subcommittee made up of Yu, Wright, and Rohrbach for the Paradise Eve event, Seconded by Kapas. All ayes, motion passed unanimously. 1  4. Arts and Pride, June 22, 2025 1 - 6 pm No update. REVIN IN THE HEIGHTS 5. Autorama Summary Autorama was a great way to spread the word to a car show audience. ACCESSIBILITY 6. Accessibility Study Motion by Yu to table the Accessibility Study, Seconded by Brown. All ayes, motion passed unanimously. 7. Exhibit for Disability Pride Month July 2025 Motion by Yu to cosponsor the Disability Pride Month exhibit at the Madison Heights Public Library in July 2025. Seconded by Brown. All ayes, motion passed unanimously. 8. Disability Programs Motion by Yu to table, Seconded by Brown. All ayes, motion passed unanimously. POLICY REVIEW 9. Review Library's Draft for Safe Child Policy Motion by Brown to create a Policy Committee made up of Brown, Kapas, and Langdon. Seconded by Kapas. ADJOURNMENT The meeting was adjourned at 7:10 pm. 2
