Sustainable Madison , 2017 Minutes Call to order and reading of Open Public Meetings Statement at 7:pm. “This meeting of the Sustainable Madison Advisory Committee complies with the Open Public Meetings Act. (P.L. 1975 c. 231). Notice of this meeting was provided to the Madison Eagle, Daily Record, Star Ledger, and to tapintomadison.com. Copies of this notice are posted on the bulletin board at the main entrance of Hartley Dodge Memorial and were made available to the general public. Present: Stephan Stocker and Carmela Vitale Absent: BOE Rep, DPW Rep , Amy Terracciano, Ellen Kranefuss, Marilyn Musielski, Gene Cracovia, and Kathleen Caccavale, Guests: None Communications: None Approval of prior month minutes: Yes 2017 Meeting Dates: February 21, March 21, April 18, May 16, June 20, July 18, August 19, September 19, October 17, November 21, December 19. Meetings will start at 7:00pm. Discussion of ongoing projects: Sent by email: Gene Cracovia – no word on grant submission for trees yet Kathleen Caccavale – no word on grant submission for bike stands yet Ellen – FaceBook link is up on website. Meeting adjoined 7:25 Stephan Stocker went to Drew University to hear talk on Climate Change. Result – Bard College offers MS & MBA’s geared to sustainability with economic focus and the overall world temperature has risen by ½ a degree in the last three years.
