Board of Health Minutes May 21, 2020 at 6PM Health Dept Office 110 Pleasant St, Malden. Zoom Meeting Members in attendance: Dr Singh, DJ Wilson and Dr. Nickerson Clerk, Christopher Webb 1. Meeting called to order by Mr. Wilson at 6PM. 2. Approval of Meeting Minutes from April 21, 2020. Tabled by Mr. Wilson for review at the next scheduled meeting. 3. Discuss ongoing efforts of the Health Dept relative to COVID 19 response. Mr, Webb described the contact tracing program support by the Public School Nurses and equipment purchases. Mr. Webb informed the Board of the Summer time community events that will draw large crowds and impacted the infection rate. Motion by Dr. Nickerson, Seconded by Dr Singh with 3 votes in the affirmative. Motion is as follows. All municipal sponsored gatherings to include July 4th events, concerts, social events with 10 or more people either indoor or outdoor are cancelled for June and July 2020 or until review by the Board of available evidence-based supports. Mr. Webb also informed the Board that the conversion to heating from to cooling in large apartment buildings (105 CMR 410.201, Temperature Requirements) may have to be varied due to the stay at home order issued by the Governor March 18, 2020. Motion by Dr. Singh Seconded by Dr. Nickerson, with three votes in the affirmative. The motion is as follows: Vary 105 CMR 410.201, Temperature Requirements, to allow the conversion from heating to cooling no earlier than June 1, 2020. 4.
