MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL OF THE BOARD
OF ALDERMEN MEETING
OF WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2024
AT 14317 MANCHESTER ROAD
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Clement called the Special Meeting of the Board of Aldermen Meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL AND STATEMENT OF QUORUM
Roll call showed those present were Alderman Streeter, Alderman Dodge, Alderman Huether,
Alderman Baumann and Mayor Clement. A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION WITH ACTING CHIEF OF POLICE ED
Acting Chief of Police Ed Skaggs spoke about his vision for the police department moving forward and
how he plans to improve policing in Manchester. The discussion involved the changes that he would
like to see made with the department and make it more community focused. Acting Chief of Police
answered questions from the Board of Aldermen.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Alderman Huether made the motion to adjourn. The motion was
seconded by Alderman Streeter and carried unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 6:39 p.m.
