CALL MEETING TO ORDER B. PLEDGE TO THE FLAG Assistant City Manager Nadine Nader led the Pledge of Allegiance. C. ROLL CALL D. CERTIFICATION OF MEETING NOTICE AND AGENDA POSTING Senior Deputy City Clerk Tatyana Roujenova-Peltekova confirmed that the meeting was properly posted. E. PUBLIC COMMENTS The following individual(s) provided public comment: Viet Ngo F. RETREAT WELCOME AND CONTEXT SETTING 1. City Council Retreat Documents (Assistant City Manager Nader). 15-0410 DISCUSS PREVIOUS RETREAT OUTCOMES AND CURRENT OBJECTIVES Mayor Burton introduced the item and presented the facilitator Professor John Nalbandian. G. RECAP FROM THE MARCH 2015 RETREAT AND DISCUSSION Professor Nalbandian provided an overview of the retreat and previewed some of the topics that would be discussed. At 12:41 PM, the City Council recessed and reconvened at 12:57 PM with all Councilmembers present. H. HIGH PERFORMING BOARD BEHAVIORS Professor Nalbandian distributed handouts for further discussion with all Councilmembers participating. At 1:43 PM, the City Council recessed and reconvened at 1:53 PM with all Councilmembers present. MEETING MANAGEMENT Professor Nalbandian continued the retreat focusing on meeting management with all Councilmembers participating in the discussion.
