Consider Adopting a Resolution to Approve a Funding Agreement Between 20-0175 the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) and City of Manhattan Beach for the Recently Awarded Measure M Manhattan Beach Advanced Traffic Signal (MBATS) System Project for $5,440,000 (Public Works Director Katsouleas). ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 20-0055 Attachments: Resolution No. 20-0055 Agreement – LACMTA Map of Signals and Proposed Fiber Network Map 3. Formally Accept as Complete the City Hall Restrooms Improvements 20-0137 Project; Authorize Filing a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder; and Release Retention of $15,518 (Public Works Director Katsouleas). APPROVE 4. Consider Adopting a Resolution Approving Participation in the Los Angeles 20-0187 Urban County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program by Entering Into a Three-Year Participating City Cooperation Agreement with the County of Los Angeles (Public Works Director Katsouleas). ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 20-0056 Attachments: Agreement - Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Resolution No. 20-0056 5. Consider Waiving Formal Bidding per Manhattan Beach Municipal Code 20-0189 Section 2.36.140 and Adopting a Resolution Approving an Agreement with DDL Traffic, Inc. for the Purchase and Installation of the Emergency Vehicle Preemption System (Phase II) for $148,903; Authorizing the City Manager to Execute the Agreement; and Authorizing the City Manager to Approve Additional Work, if Necessary, for up to $9,000 (Public Works Director Katsouleas). a) WAIVE FORMAL BIDDING b) ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 20-0057 APPROVING AN AGREEMENT Attachments: Agreement - DDL Traffic, Inc.
