CALL AND NOTICE OF A SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
TO THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANHATTAN
BEACH:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Mayor has called a Special Closed Session
Meeting of the City Council of the City of Manhattan Beach, California, to be held
at Manhattan Beach City Hall, in the City Council Chambers, 1400 Highland
Avenue, Manhattan Beach, California, 90266, at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 23,
2017, for the purpose of convening a Closed Session of the City Council. The
agenda for the meeting is set forth below.

CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATORS
(Government Code Section 54956.8)
The Joint Use Agreement between the School District and the City
is scheduled to expire in June 30, 2017, and the District and the City
are engaging in real property negotiations regarding public use of
school property and potentially leasing portions thereof.

Agency Negotiator: City Attorney and City Manager
Negotiating Parties: Manhattan Beach Unified School District and
