Page 1 of 1 MINUTES OF BOARD OF REVIEW- CITY OF MANISTEE MEETING HELD AT CITY HALL, 70 MAPLE ST., MANISTEE MI MARCH 12, 2012 9: 00 A.M. The Board ofReview was called to order at 9: 02 a.m. on March 12, 2012. Chairperson Doug Parkes, Member Therran Ferguson and Alternate Member Lynda Beaton were present. Julie Beardslee, City Assessor and Secretary ofthe Board of Review, was present for the appeal session. The Board heard appeals from 9: 00 a.m. to noon and 1: 00 p. m. to 4: 00 p.m. The Board reviewed letters and determined petitions. Therran Ferguson cited a conflict of interest regarding Gary Makinen' s appeal and Doug Parkes cited a conflict of interest regarding Dennis Skiera' s appeals and recused themselves from voting on those petitions. The Board established a special meeting of the Board of Review for a decision making session, no further appeals will be heard, at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2012. The Board may recess and continue in a decision making session on Thursday, March 15, 2012, beginning at 9: 00 a.m., ifnecessary. The meeting will be posted on the two bulletin boards inside and outside of City Hall, as a special meeting, with an 18 hour notice.
